The Manuscript Division Reading Room of the Ossolineum Library is located in the main building of the Ossolineum at 37 Szewska Street in Wroclaw, on the ground floor of the A staircase.
The reading room has 8 places for readers.
It provides registered readers with access to the Manuscript Department's reference collection and collection catalogues, as well as original manuscripts for authorised readers only (academics and publishers).

The Electronic Catalogue of Processed Manuscripts (inventoried) contains basic information about manuscripts described in more detail in the print catalogues and inventories. Subject headings may include personal names, place names, and names of institutions and organisations if they appear in the title of the manuscript. This catalogue does not include manuscripts that remained in Lviv after the Second World War. Microfilm copies are identified by the abbreviation "Mf". The Catalogue of Unprocessed (Accession) Manuscripts includes manuscripts not yet included in printed catalogues and inventories.
